Philips ZOOM is the most-requested professional teeth whitening brand in North America — and by Ontario law, it can only be administered by a dental professional. In about 60 minutes in a massage chair at our Georgetown clinic, you'll leave with a noticeably brighter smile that lasts up to a year. Coffee drinkers, wedding parties, "I have a thing on Friday" people — this is for you.
How ZOOM whitening works.
- Prep (15 min): photos, shade record, and a full gum-and-lip isolation barrier
- Whitening (45–60 min): hydrogen peroxide gel activated by the ZOOM LED lamp, in 15-minute cycles
- Finish (15 min): after photos, your aftercare plan, and an optional desensitizing treatment
Why ZOOM — not the at-home kit you saw on Instagram.
- FDA-approved and clinically proven safe
- Strengthens enamel — most over-the-counter products weaken it
- Sealed-off gums and lips, so no chemical burns
- Up to 8 shades of improvement in one session, versus 1–2 from drugstore kits
In Ontario, aestheticians can only legally use lower-strength products. It is not the same result. Curious what authentic ZOOM should cost? Read our honest guide to ZOOM whitening pricing across the GTA.
Best results: cleaning first.
Whitening over plaque or tartar is like waxing a dirty car. Either:
- Have a dental cleaning in Georgetown within 3 months before your ZOOM session, or
- Book a combo appointment and do both in the same visit — the most popular option, and it saves you the trip
After your session — the 48-hour "white diet".
For 48 hours, avoid anything with colour you'd worry about on a white t-shirt: coffee, tea, red wine, kombucha, Gatorade, soya sauce, balsamic vinegar, ketchup, tomato sauce, and berries. Brush gently. Wondering how long results hold? Here's how long ZOOM whitening actually lasts.
Keep the result
Many clients pair ZOOM with custom take-home whitening trays — worn once or twice a year for 30 minutes to maintain their shade between visits.
